Spencer is our foundation Beagle dog for Danter. Spencer took his first BOV win, over a top ranked special his first weekend out under breeder judge Mrs. Lesley E. Hiltz at 7 months. He has a national specialty Best In Sweepstakes as well as a specialty Best of Variety, and a specialty Best of Opposite Sex to Best of Breed.. He has accumulated over 60 Best Of Varieties, a few Best of Opposite Sex's, Group 1, Group 2, Group 3 and Group 4 placements to date. Spencer has been shown to all these wins by his owner/handler with very little advertising.

Spencer has correct movement with plenty of reach and drive and moves cleanly coming and going. Along with a nice head piece that carries a gentle and pleading expression. With a muscular build, some say "stallion" like body, he is a well balanced dog with plenty of bone and substance. In the ring Spencer puts on a persona of being extremely serious and he knows his job, don't be surprised if you see him at a show and he won’t take his eyes off of his mama. At home Spencer carries a more relaxed and merry attitude. Some activities Spencer enjoys are playing ball and swimming.
